In the heart of the Roussillon department, near Perpignan, the Canet-en-Roussillon boasts a brand new thalasso spa, situated right between wild ponds where pink flamingoes rest and the Mediterranean sea, on the beautiful waterfront of a vast, sandy beach.

Right beside a natural preserve, the thalassotherapy spa centre is a mere 15km away from Perpignan, and therefore primely located. It is the only resort of this kind in the eastern Pyrennes and undoubtedly the most exciting thalasso prospect in the entire Languedoc-Roussillon region.

Restaurants : Restaurant "L'Horizon"
This traditional restaurant proposes a very classical menu, influenced by Mediterranean cuisine.

It also offers a diet menu that brings together beautifully presented dishes and flavourous local products. The restaurant is also proud of its beautiful terrace, which looks out to the sea.

Restaurant "La Véranda"
La Véranda Restaurant opens out to the Mediterranean and invites to indulge with flavourous food from around the world, in a very cosy atmosphere embellished with a terrace and a swimming pool surrounded by palm-trees.

Sports et leisures : Just a couple of kilometers away, a tour of the city of Perpignan is an absolute must.

In the Canet en Roussillon′s vicinity, you are free to explore the villages of the Corbières, the Cathar castles of the region, the castles of Collioure and Port-Vendres, the Marcevol Priory in Arboussols, which is a Roman art wonder, and Arques with its Cathar dungeon.

In Pierrelatte, the children will enjoy the Crocodile Farm, or Sorède′s Turtle Valley.
Just outside Gruissan, amateur oenologists will happily explore the Wine and Vineyard city or the Grande Cave in Banyuls sur Mer.

Spain is also just a stone′s throw away, and picturesque villages such as Port Bou, Roses and Cadaques are well worth a visit, and this also goes for the Dali museum in Figueres.

For amateurs of water-activities, a large number of options for renting boats or jetskis are available, even without a license. Access : By car
