Ischia Island Mezzatorre

The place : Situated in the heart of Italy, 3 hours away from Rome and a stone′s throw away from Naples, the island of Ischia is a golden destination for a thalasso holiday in Italy. Hotel SPA Mezzatore Resort lies on the island of Ischia, at the end of the San Montano bay and just a stone′s throw away from the famous island of Capri.

Hotel "SPA Mezzatorre Resort"

Situated at the end of a rocky headland, which dives into the sea, this thalasso spa hotel boasts both a unique and privileged location. The Hotel thalasso Mezzatorre Resort is a beautiful thalasso spa complex, featuring an impressive XVIth century tower, with particularly comfortable rooms and suites that look out to the sea or to the park.

The hotel features 60 air-conditioned rooms, and 23 are located inside the tower, the others being in the hotel′s park.

The following accomodation facilities are available in the tower:
16 double rooms, 3 single rooms, 3 luxury suites equipped with a Jacuzzi, 1 large luxury suite (80sqm) with a panoramic bathroom, a Jacuzzi, a private balcony (100 to 120sqm) with a Jacuzzi swimming pool. All rooms and suites listed above have a view on the sea.

The following accomodation facilites are available in the park:
14 Superiour double rooms, 13 double rooms, and a single Comfort room.
The 28 rooms listed above share a breathtaking view on the sea. The 4 Standard double rooms, and the Standard single room, do not look out to the sea.
3 luxury suites with a private garden, terraces fitted with a Jacuzzi swimming pool, as well as a Classic Junoir suite, equipped with a Jacuzzi, all face the sea.

Rooms and suites all feature amenities, such as bathroom or shower room, direct-dial telephone, colour TV, refrigerator and inroom safe. The suites are fitted with a sofa bed, thus boosting its housing capacity to 3 guests.

The common rooms are impeccable, which really contributes to creating a unique atmosphere. Incredible views give a particular feel to the place, such as a panorama stretching out from Mount Epomeo to the Vesuvio.

Hotel amenities:
Shuttles take guests to the Lacco Ameno centre, and two private bays, an inside heliport, a heated outdoor seawater swimming pool, outdoor tennis courts, a gym room, a car park, a piano bar, luggage handlers, and 24h reception services are at your disposal.

The hotel takes cares of all transfers from Rome or Naples to the island of Ischia.

Limousine Service:
Transfers from Naples: hotel staff will greet you when you land at Naples airport or train station, will take you to the ferry boat which brings visitors to the island, and then show you to your spa hotel.
Transfers from Rome: hotel staff will greet you when you land at Rome airport, a chauffeur will take you to Naples′ port, for a departure on the first ferry to Ischia.

Quick transfer service:
A taxi will collect you from Naples airport or train station, and lead you to your helicopter. You will land in Ischia 45 minutes later, where another taxi will take you to the hotel.

Restaurants : The hotel features 2 restaurants, one adjacent to the tower and another famous for its roof made of palm-tree leaves and its prime location on the Mediterannean′s water edge. Both serve a wide range of regional and international specialities. In order to complement your fitness programme, diet menus are served for beakfast, lunch and dinner upon request. A dietetician is also at your disposal for advice regarding your eating habits and your slimming diet.

Restaurant "Panoramique"

Restaurant Panoramique is adjacent to the XVIth century tower (for the breakfast buffet and for dinner).

A buffet is prepared for breakfast.

This restaurant elegantly combines Italian and international cuisine.

Dinner is served à la carte, with a buffet as an hors d′œuvre. The cuisine is particularly refined and neat, and so is the service. Typically Mediterranean specialities and treats are served, with vegetarian dishes and grilled food, also on the menu.
As in all 5* restaurants, a strict dress code is the norm.

Restaurant "Poolside"

This restaurant is entirely dedicated to the lunch service, with à la carte dishes only.

It serves regional dishes, salads, grilled meat or fish and snacks.

Lunch is served at the table with a buffet as a hors d′oeuvre.


Sports and Activities : The heated seawater swimming pool tickles the tower before opening out onto the sea, and therefore offers a breathtaking view on the hotel′s surroundings.
You will also have the possibility of playing tennis in one of the outdoor tennis courts.
