The beneficial effects of the Mediterranean sea have been known to man ever since the Antiquity. The Mediterranean is strongly salted, as well as being rich in mineral contents, iodine and trace elements, and this, added to pure marine air and the delightful Roussillon sun, ensures an enjoyable and restful stay.

Located at the centre of the hotel complex, the 3-storey high Thalassotherapy and Spa Institute covers a 1200sqm surface, full of light and entirely dedicated to wellness.

Looking out to the sea and situated alongside a 9km-long beach, the facilities include:
- a ludic indoor and outdoor heated sea-water swimming pool
- a training and physical therapy swimming pool
- a jacuzzi
- a fitness and physical therapy room
- a sauna
- a true oriental steam bath
- a solarium
- 26 individual cabins for hydrotherapy, seeweed therapy, and pressotherapy, as well as affusion massages
- a unique wellness area in which sky and sea interact with a range of subtle and innovative beauty treatments, specific cures and massages.
- a hairdressers′ salon and a gift-shop complement the facilities.

Free access to the centre's facilities for people over 16 year-old from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m, for those under 16 under parental supervision from 1 p.m. to 2h30 p.m. and from 6h30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Thalasport Spa Package 6d :

Go for a spa sojourn in Southern France, at the heart of the Catalan Region, near Perpignan, the spa centre of Canet is an invitation to let yourself go to the slow pace of life of the region, away from the stress and rush of your everyday life. There, on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, you shall be able to combine the beneficial properties of thalassotherapy and sports for an absolute well-being...

At the spa centre, you shall be under the supervision of sports coaches in groups of 4 to 6 people, and follow a program designed for your needs only. And to optimize the effects of this spa, note that the sports sessions will take place only in the morning. The rest of your program will be either in the mornings or afternoons.

You shall enjoy 4 treatments per day while on your spa sojourn in Southern France:
-1 muscular awakening (scheduled in the morning)
-1 tonic session (morning)
-1 “power plate” session or stretch power alternated with 1 multijet and chromatography bath
-1 essential oils massage or 1 affusion massage alternate with 1 hydromassage

The extras of your Thalasport Spa:
-1 sports assessment (1 personalized sports activities program + 1 cardio test at the beginning and end of your spa)
-3 hydrotherapy treatment (other than massages) spread over the 6 days of the spa: multijets bath, shower jet, hydrojet or seaweed wrap.

As a complement to your treatments, you shall have access to the real oriental Turkish Bath, the marine area, sauna, fitness room, solarium and herbal tea bar while on your spa sojourn in Southern France.

The bathrobe and towels are provided. The bath-cap, swimsuit and slippers are compulsory inside the spa centre (either brought along or bought at the gift shop).

Please note that for spa packages lasting more than 3 days, a medical certificate clearing you for spa treatments is required. It is possible that you are asked to pay an extra charge for the consultation at the spa centre. The minimum age required to receive spa treatments at the thalasso centre is 18.
