Spa Information :

Aquapura Douro is a spa, not a thalasso, hotel in Portugal. The spa treatments are administered using freshwater, and not seawater like in thalassotherapy.

The spa centre adds perfection to the luxury hotel Aquapuro Douro: the modern and refined interior design is an invitation to body and ming well-being within 2200 sq.m. of facilities gently lit by a few candles.

This spa of Portugal combines natural elements with ancestral treatment and massage techniques from every corner of the world.

Despite its 2200 sq.m., this spa centre guarantees privacy and tranquility during your spa treatments. At the guests' disposal: a total of 10 stalls for individual treatments, among which a double stall with private relaxation room for Duo Spa treatments, for those wishing to enjoy the relaxing benefits of spa and balneotherapy with their dear one. These modern cabins offer a view of the woods, the river Douro and the green gardens of the luxury spa resort.

In addition to the 10 treatment stalls, you can enjoy a free access to the relaxation area during your treatments: heated indoor pool with underwater jets, hammam, panoramic sauna, fitness room open 24h a day and laconium (gentle sauna).

Bathrobe and slippers are provided in your room. Disposable slips are also provided during your spa treatments.


PRACTICAL INFO

The minimum age of persons allowed to receive treatments at the spa is 18.

Aquapura Douro Valley Spa Centre is open every day of the week (sunday as well); the facilities are available from sunday to thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; on fridays, saturdays and public holidays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Balneotherapy spa treatments are scheduled from 10h30 a.m. to 7 p.m. (sunday to thursday) and 10h30 a.m. to 8 p.m. (on fridays, saturdays and public holidays).
