Restaurant "The Samudra" This restaurant is built on stilts over the sea and offers a unique assortment of classical Malay dishes and international cuisine for dinner. Accompaniments to your meal are live Gamelan music and a view of the bay.
Restaurant "Royal Bay Beach Club" Just steps away from the lap pool with views over the sea, this outlet offers light lunches and snacks as well as a variety of refreshing beverages throughout the day. An a la carte menu featuring East meets West dishes is offered daily for dinner.

History left its footprint in this town since the Portuguese, the Dutch and the British once possessed this land. The most interesting places are the pink town hall built at the end of the 17th century and believed to be the oldest Dutch building in Asia with a characteristic colonial architecture, the Ethnographic Museum, the ruins of Saint Paul′s Church and the Cheng Hoon Teng Temple.
